HealthWorx and the Ministry of Defense Health Services (MODHS) - Oracle Health Rollout at Jizan Military Hospital

Business Challenge:
Jizan Military Hospital, part of MODHS, aimed to modernize its healthcare operations by replacing fragmented legacy systems with a fully integrated digital health platform. The objective was to enhance clinical workflows, achieve real-time interoperability across departments, integrate medical devices, and establish secure connections with external healthcare systems to drive better patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Oracle Solutions and Services Rolled Out:
HealthWorx successfully led the full rollout of a comprehensive suite of Oracle Health solutions, deploying approximately 18+ Oracle Health (Cerner) modules covering clinical, operational, and administrative functions. In addition, HealthWorx integrated over 15 medical devices using Oracle Health’s Medical Device Integration (MDI) capabilities and rolled out 5 Foreign System Interfaces (FSI) to external platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and supporting MODHS’s digital health goals.
Results:
Through HealthWorx’s leadership, Jizan Military Hospital achieved a major digital transformation, resulting in significant improvements in patient safety, clinical documentation, and operational performance. This successful rollout supports the Ministry’s broader vision of creating a fully connected and efficient healthcare network across its facilities.
